Starting this autumn you can also spend the night at Villa Abbatis. We built a guesthouse in the same style as the stable, following thoroughly the local architecture, from the angles and height of the roof, to the materials and methods we used.
The 100 year-old roof tiles were recovered from villagers who were replacing them with modern ones. The plastering on the walls is a mix of sand and lime. The beams and the wooden floor are manufactured by local artisans and the beds were handmade by the Villa Abbatis owner himself, out of 1880s’-old wood. Although brand new, we are proud our gueshouse already has history.
All the four rooms have their own bathroom and central heating.
And for you to feel at home, we have prepared lunch for you: chicken dumpling soup, veal stew, hanklich (tradition Saxon pie) and the best wood oven baked-bread in the whole Hartibaciu Valley. All cooked and served by ladies in our village.
If you want to stay overnight or have a meal, please let us know the moment you make your booking for trails or riding lessons.
