Join us on a riding tour or for a holiday trail for the chance to enjoy some exhilarating canters in open field, to sample local delicacies, visit shepherds and observe a way of life in remote villages where time has stood still.
We offer customised private Trails tours from 3 to 5 days and 7 different center-based tours to different villages in the Hârtibaciu Valley and Târnavelor Valley with departure from Apos described on our website.

All our tours are Eco Tours, certified by AER, the Romanian Ecotourism Association, whose member we are. Each day tour is betweem 30 - 40 km long and takes about 9 hours time (5-6 hours riding).
Because our tours are cultural tours we emerge our riders into Transylvanian legends, gastronomy, nature, folklore, get them in contact with local communities and meet extraordinary locals with special talents who are still keeping old ways of life.
Clothing/Equipment
Riding helmets are mandatory. Suitable footwear and pants to be worn. We do not advise riding in denim jeans unless you are used to doing so, as they may chaff your legs. Riding breeches/jodhpurs with chaps or long boots are recommended. Footwear must be supportive of the ankle and have a heel. Sun block is recommended. Gloves are recommended and provided for free. Rain jacket and rain pants that fit over riding clothes recommended, in case of rain.
Riding Ability
We require that all riders taking part on the tour are able to walk/trot competently. We advise riders to take some lessons before taking our tours.
Choices of rides: The day trips as described, are chosen by customers, still, depending of weather condition or the availabilities of our hosts for lunch we can recommend or choose another ride.
Fees:
Fee for day trip: EUR 200 pers (aprox 6 h riding time, 3 course lunch and visit to the fortified church included)
Fee for all inclusive day trip: Sibiu return (airport) transfer, accommodation one night, diner and breakfast plus the day trip as described EUR 320/person.
The fee for each ride includes:
Horse, helmets, riding gloves, safety vests, professional riding guide for the whole trip (English);full lunch board (drinks included);church/museum entrance fees.
