Apoș - Biertan / Birthalm
This trail leads us to Biertan (Birthalm).
Biertan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest villages in Transylvania, going back to the 13th century.
It hosts the most important fortified church in the region: the Seat of the former Evangelic Bishop.
We’ll have lunch at Unglerus restaurant, surrounded by medieval cavalry armours and figures and then we will visit the church, where we will learn about the Saxon way of life.
